Innovation should build trust, not uncertainty.
Why this matters
Why this matters
Artificial intelligence and automation are transforming real estate, from data analysis and workflow coordination to client communication and operational decision support. While these tools offer meaningful benefits, they must be deployed carefully and responsibly.
Bureau One believes that transparency, oversight, and ethical standards are essential as the industry evolves.

Override and appeal
You can ask a person to look at it
If an automated process produces a result that affects you, you can ask for a person to review it. Requests go to your Bureau One professional or to privacy@bureau.one, and a person decides the outcome.
We do not use automated systems to make final decisions about housing access, representation, or the terms of a transaction. Those decisions are made by licensed professionals.
Monitoring and explainability
Watching for drift, and being able to explain
Systems are reviewed on a defined schedule for drift, meaning a change in behavior over time that was not intended.
Where an automated system informs a decision affecting a client, we maintain the ability to explain what it considered.
Bias review is conducted against fair housing standards, not technical accuracy alone.

Fairness
Fairness & bias awareness
We are committed to supporting fair and equitable outcomes. Bureau One monitors automated systems to reduce the risk of unintended bias and ensure alignment with fair housing and ethical standards.
Our goal is to support transparency, consistency, and accountability.
Security
Security & risk management
Automation and intelligent systems are integrated into our broader security and governance framework. We continuously evaluate risks related to cybersecurity, fraud, and system integrity.
This keeps technology part of our protection rather than a new source of risk.
Improvement
Continuous improvement
Technology evolves rapidly. Bureau One regularly reviews and improves its systems, governance, and processes to align with emerging best practices, regulatory expectations, and industry standards.
Disclosure
When you are interacting with AI
Where you interact with an automated or artificial intelligence system rather than a licensed professional, Bureau One will tell you. Automated tools support licensed professionals and do not replace them. Any decision requiring the exercise of professional judgment in a real estate transaction is made by a licensed real estate professional.
