Licensing & Subsidiary Disclosures

Bureau One is a group of companies, and each one operates under its own licensing, regulatory, and professional requirements.

This page identifies which entity provides which service, which entities hold real estate licenses, and which do not. It also carries the specific disclaimers that govern each company’s website, platform, and communications.

If you are working with someone in the Bureau One ecosystem, this page tells you who you are actually working with.

01Licensed brokerage identification

Real estate brokerage services within the Bureau One ecosystem are provided by Bureau Real Estate LLC, a real estate brokerage licensed by the real estate regulator in each state where it does business.

Bureau Direct LLC is a brokerage in development. It is not currently licensed and does not provide brokerage services, represent buyers or sellers, negotiate on behalf of any party, or hold client funds.

Bureau One Inc., Bureau Services LLC, Bureau Café LLC, and Prisana LLC are not licensed real estate brokerages and do not provide brokerage services.

License numbers, the principal broker of record, the office address of record and license verification for each state are published at bureaurealestate.com/legal/licensing (opens in a new tab).

02Licensed brokerage structure

Real estate brokerage services within the Bureau One ecosystem are provided by Bureau Real Estate LLC, a licensed operating entity. Bureau Real Estate LLC operates in accordance with the licensing requirements of the jurisdictions in which it is authorized to do business.

Brokerage services are delivered by licensed real estate professionals affiliated with Bureau Real Estate LLC, under the supervision of a licensed principal broker in accordance with applicable state requirements.

Bureau One Inc. provides governance and corporate functions to its affiliated operating companies. Technology is provided by Prisana LLC and operational services by Bureau Services LLC. Bureau One Inc. is not a licensed real estate brokerage and does not provide brokerage services directly.
Not all services described on this website are available in every jurisdiction. Consumers are encouraged to verify the licensing status of the entity and professional with whom they work.

03Supervision & professional standards

Defined supervision and professional accountability are central to consistent service and client protection.

Each licensed entity maintains supervisory practices designed to support review and oversight of transactions, compliance monitoring and escalation, adherence to ethical standards and professional conduct requirements, and ongoing support for agents, advisors, and teams.

Licensed brokers and operational teams provide guidance and oversight throughout the transaction lifecycle. These practices are designed to protect clients while supporting professionals in delivering consistent service.
Supervisory requirements vary by jurisdiction. Each entity maintains practices intended to meet the requirements applicable to its licensed operations.

04Compliance & operational controls

Bureau One integrates compliance into operational workflows rather than treating it as a separate function.

Operational controls are designed to support standardized transaction workflows, documentation and record management, audit trails and operational visibility, and consistent application of policies and procedures.

This approach is intended to support clarity, continuity, and accountability across complex transactions, and to help each entity meet its recordkeeping and compliance obligations.
