Our approach

Our approach to governance and compliance

Bureau One integrates governance, regulatory alignment, and operational oversight across its affiliated entities to support transparency, accountability, and long-term stability. Rather than treating compliance as a separate function, we embed structured controls, supervision, and monitoring into our platform, technology, and professional workflows. This approach is designed to support responsible growth, protect clients and professionals, and maintain confidence among regulators, partners, and stakeholders.

01Organizational structure

Bureau One Inc. operates as a parent company providing governance and corporate functions to an ecosystem of specialized operating companies. Each entity serves a distinct function while operating within shared standards, systems, and governance.

Bureau Real Estate provides licensed brokerage representation and professional oversight. Bureau Direct LLC is a brokerage in development. It is not currently licensed and does not provide brokerage services, represent buyers or sellers, negotiate on behalf of any party, or hold client funds. Bureau Services delivers operational and transaction infrastructure. Bureau Café operates hospitality environments within Bureau locations. Prisana provides the technology, automation, and data framework that supports the ecosystem. Technology is provided by Prisana LLC and operational services by Bureau Services LLC.

Each operating company maintains its own leadership, accountability, and regulatory obligations. Bureau One Inc. provides corporate functions including legal, finance, brand governance, technology architecture, and strategic planning across all entities.

This structure is designed to support consistent standards and coordinated oversight while allowing each business to operate within the requirements of its own industry and jurisdiction.

02Leadership & oversight

Bureau One maintains defined leadership structures and oversight processes intended to support ethical conduct, operational discipline, and responsible growth.
Governance responsibilities include structured decision-making and escalation, defined roles and accountability across entities, coordination between legal, compliance, technology, and operations, and continuous alignment across the organization.

Oversight is designed to be embedded in ordinary operations rather than treated as a separate function. Our intent is to support both flexibility and control as the organization grows.

03Risk management & operational discipline

Managing risk is essential to protecting clients, professionals, and partners. Bureau One applies structured operational practices designed to identify, monitor, and reduce exposure across the ecosystem.

Our approach includes defined policies and procedures, ongoing monitoring and review, cross-functional coordination across legal, compliance, technology, and operations, and continuous improvement as conditions change.

Risk management practices are designed to evolve alongside regulatory expectations, technology, and the markets in which we operate. Our goal is a resilient and adaptable platform that supports long-term stability.

04Regulatory alignment & compliance

The real estate, financial, and technology landscape continues to evolve, and Bureau One is committed to maintaining awareness of regulatory developments and adapting its policies, procedures, and systems accordingly. Our compliance efforts emphasize consumer protection, transparency, fair housing and accessibility, data privacy and cybersecurity, fraud prevention and identity verification, responsible use of technology and automation, and disciplined recordkeeping. These practices are designed to support sustainable growth, operational resilience, and long-term regulatory confidence across all affiliated entities.

05Ethics, conduct & accountability

Bureau One expects its professionals, employees, and partners to operate with integrity, transparency, and professionalism. Defined standards of conduct, governance, and escalation procedures support ethical decision-making and responsible behavior across all activities. Where appropriate, Bureau One may take corrective or disciplinary action to address violations of applicable policies, legal obligations, or professional expectations in order to protect clients, maintain trust, and uphold the integrity of the Bureau One platform.

Regulatory monitoring

Bureau One continuously monitors evolving privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection standards to align with emerging regulatory and industry expectations.
